The 4th Annual Congress on Power and Energy was traditionally held in Palfy Palace in Bratislava on June 5th - 6th, 2007. Motto of the congress was "Energy, Its Price and New Dynamic Features of the Energy Market".
Main issues, presented and discussed during the first day were: energy supply opportunities in Visegrad 4 region, lack of internal sources and cross-boundary capacities, impact of prices and regulation, renewable resources and solutions supported by new European energy policy. The second day of the congress was devoted to demand for electricity and energy sources, role of natural gas in energy sector, possibilities for re-defining of energy strategies and market principles, lessons learnt for Europe, opportunities offered by nuclear energy and its renaissance.
Our company participated at the congress by RNDr. Oskár Halzl, Bc. Anton Weissensteiner and Mgr. Libor Láznička. Mr. Láznička addressed a speech on "Information and data exchange on an open electricity energy market".
